I was sent a link to this report on the CDC’s web-site in reply to my allegation that the oft cited 36,000 average annual deaths in the US caused by influenza was incorrect.
2009-10 Influenza Prevention & Control Recommendations
ACIP Recommendations: Introduction and Biology of Influenza
However, a quick 20 second search of the same web-site yielded the
National Vital Statistics Reports – causes of death for 2007
in which if you search for influenza you will find a combined number of 52,000 for pneumonia and influenza on page 5… That sounds alarming, and looking at that number no one would question that if we split out the statistics for the number of deaths of influenza and pneumonia that 36,000 would be reasonable for influenza. But don’t stop there. Remember… question everything. Keep searching for influenza and our quest is complete. On page 18, we find the combined number and then immediately below that the split.
Influenza and pneumonia 52,847 deaths
- Influenza 457 deaths
- Pneumonia 52,389 deaths
Why do they tell us it is 36,000? Or approximately 100 per day?
Let’s keep going. What else do we find. On page 24 there is a list of causes of infant deaths. How many for influenza / pneumonia?
Influenza and pneumonia 218deaths
- Influenza 9 deaths
- Pneumonia 209 deaths
Is it worth risking an injection of any amount of squalene, mercury, detergent, live or dead virus? And for a baby? Why voluntarily inject known toxins into your baby (or yourself) beyond levels that aren’t even safe for a 200 pound adult?
Question everything.
