in which if you search for influenza you will find a combined number of 52,000 for pneumonia and influenza on page 5… That sounds alarming, and looking at that number no one would question that if we split out the statistics for the number of deaths of influenza and pneumonia that 36,000 would be reasonable for influenza. But don’t stop there. Remember… question everything. Keep searching for influenza and our quest is complete. On page 18, we find the combined number and then immediately below that the split.

Why do they tell us it is 36,000? Or approximately 100 per day?
